DiceCAM lets you use dice (yes, REAL DICE) in your computerized games. You roll the dice, and the DiceCAM sends the results to your game. And right now, you can get your very own DiceCAM from Kickstarter. We've been featured on Kickstarter recently.... here's the video. |
Whether you play Yahtzee, Risk, or Dungeons and Dragons, having a computer manage your game makes everything easier. But nobody wants to have a computer roll dice for them. DiceCAM lets you combine real dice with a computerized game. It works with regular dice, polyhedral dice like you might use in Dungeons and Dragons, and if you have a game that uses non-standard dice, you can train the DiceCAM to recognize them as well. We like using DiceCAM with an RPG Virtual Tabletop gaming system like MapTool or Fantasy Grounds II. The VTT shows the map, places the characters, and manages the rules for the game.
